During the winter months, the bees and beekeepers of Coedcanlas await the warmth of spring, and turn their attention to the arrival of Amadora's seville oranges. For a short time, it is marmalade season.
The oranges are slowly baked, sliced by hand and gently cooked in large copper pans. They add only organic Cuban sugar, Sicilian lemons and a little Coedcanlas honey.
